No. Connect the sheet, choose the tab, map your columns to the CRM’s fields, and it syncs every fifteen minutes. Your team can keep using the sheet while they get used to the CRM.
Yes. Each person connects their own Google account. Meetings, follow-up reminders and task due dates appear on the assignee’s calendar. Changes made in Google flow back into Lighter.
Yes. You send a link instead of an attachment. The client opens it in a browser and accepts it there. Acceptance moves the event to the Quotation Approved stage automatically.
Yes. Quotations calculate GST at the rate you set — 18% by default — and carry company and client GST details.
Yes. There are eight roles, with permissions enforced on the server. Sales works in leads, customers, meetings and quotations; production works in events, vendors and expenses; accounts works in finance.
Nothing is deleted. Your account moves to the free Starter plan, and you can export leads, events, customers, vendors, venues and tasks to Excel at any time.
Yes. RSVP requests go out through the Official WhatsApp Business API as approved template messages, sent from the server rather than from a browser. Guest lists, responses and reminders all live in the same RSVP module. It is available on the Enterprise plan.
Yes. You enter your own phone number ID, access token and approved template name once in Settings, and messages then go out from your own business number. Because it is the Official API, they are template messages rather than free-form chat.
Yes. Filter the guest list to the ones still pending, select them, and send the reminder. Each guest record then shows that the invite went out and when.
Yes. An event can be broken into functions — mehendi, sangeet, wedding, reception — and each guest is recorded as attending some and not others. Meal preference, plus-ones and accommodation are tracked on the same record.
Yes. Guests import from a spreadsheet, the same way leads, customers, vendors and venues do, using your own column headings.
Meta Ads lead forms arrive as lead records through a webhook. Instagram, your website, a Google Sheet and manual entry are all recorded as sources, so you can see which one actually produced the enquiry.
Property category, city, guest capacity, room count, per-day rate and price range, plus whether outside catering is allowed, what licences are required, whether late-night music is permitted, and whether there is a swimming pool, beach front or private beach access — along with contact details, website and Instagram.

What Lighter is
Lighter is event management software for wedding planners, event companies, decor houses and corporate event teams in India. It follows an enquiry from the moment it arrives to the profit left on the event after it is over: leads, meetings, quotations with GST, client payments, events broken into functions, vendors, venues, expenses and vendor payouts.
Guests are managed in the same system — guest lists, RSVP collection and reminders through the Official WhatsApp Business API. It has eight roles with server-enforced permissions, syncs with Google Calendar and Google Sheets, and starts free.
